The members of Westmoreland Chapter had a very busy day on Saturday, March 10, 2012. The young men arrived at the Greensburg Masonic Center at 12:30 PM to vote to take in two new members. The obligation was then held. Both Bro. Isaac H and Bro. Adam N preformed the Obligation. There was a short break afterwich was held the Installation of officers for the next term. Bro. Dominic B was installed as Master Councilor, Bro. Lukas M as Senior Councilor and Bro. Earl ” Oden” K as Junior Councilor. The appointed officers were also installed. After the installation of officers the Chapter had a surprise for two advisors.
Isaac and Adam commented that the Members of the Chapter voted unanimously to honor two advisors. They took it upon themselves to put the plan into action. They called on “Dad” Bill Holtzer and “Dad” Bruce Neubauer and presented them both with a Medal of Appreciation.
In attendance was “Dad” Timothy L. Shumar, District Deputy Grand Master of the 30th Masonic District, and the officers of the Lodges which he oversees. The officers of Kedron Commandery No. 18 and Westmoreland Forest No. 77 were also in attendance along with members of Irwin Rainbow Assembly and Pilgrim Chapter (who took the Judge with them after dinner!)
